The STEM Beetle was an idea conceived by Billy Almon, an astrobiofuturist, inventor and storyteller, to bring a fun hands-on experience to kids learning about biomimicry. I helped design and fabricate the beetle inspired armature to ensure a snug fit with the motor and battery pack so they kids can assemble during the workshop and watch them bounce around the table when turned on.
